Eyefinity EHR is easy to use and combines with Eyefinity Practice Management to make a strong and efficient EHR system. There are a lot of integrations readily available and easy to implement. There are a lot of updates and changes to the software, but this is always for the better. This is clearly evident when using other EHR services that are seriously outdated. It can be somewhat difficult to keep up with, but Eyefinity does provide proper training for the updates. It is just a matter of taking the time to do them, not a fault of Eyefinity. Eyefinity is the best it has been very helpful when using. It keeps patients in order so we know what time they are suppose to be here. It puts most of the patient information into the system. It is very organized and has been a huge help when it comes to our office. It has name, dates, and birth dates. everything has been wonderful when using this system. Eyefinity EHR is absolutely pivotal to our practice for patient/doctor management. We operate solely from the website to work up patient history, the pretesting, and even the ocular exam that the doctors perform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot of updates that sometimes fixes bugs and sometimes they don’t. A lot of the times when I am imputing information it will be there one minute and then when the doctor pulls it up on their iPad it will be gone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about eyefinity ehr is that it's super easy to use. There are some cool features like for example when I refer a patient out to a specialist i can fax them the visit notes thru the ehr system. Its also very easy to bring out prescription and edit prescriptions.With the ehr you can also e-prescribe to pharmacy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What i dislike about eyefinity ehr is that, you have to have a separate software in order to check the patient out and order glasses or contacts. It's very annoying sometimes to keep going back and forth on different systems when the patient is in front of you ready to check out or order supply. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how it is so easy to submit my insurance and the administrator there are very fast to access. We are able to get authorization code in a very quick and respectful manners. We are able to search patients very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that there are certain requirements to search a patient like the social security which many patients does not want to reveal. This is just a small issue, it is not something that would change how we feel about this program because it is very efficient to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was able to find my patients in a matter of less than 5 minutes. All I had to do is include their name and birthday in order to find the patients. It also give you the option to look by using their member identification number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although I love this program, it is difficult to get the customers to trust us to be able give their social security number or they forget. Because the program has too many requirements it makes it hard to look for the patient with all the require information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the system prompts you to fill in the next step. One selection leads you to lists of associated aspects of the selection. For example if you are starting an exam and you select red eye, the associated symptoms are generated not only for the tech to remember to ask about certain symptoms but also when the dr. Is diagnosing. The dr. Will select an impression and the plans and procedures are given that relate to that diagnosis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that you have to completely exit out of what you are doing to look at something else. So if you are on the chief complaint and you are doing an annual eye exam on someone who has had cataract surgery in the past five years and you want to see what year they had their cataract surgery on the clipboard or previous exam you have to finish the chief complaint first. Or if someone is using a certain medication you have to remember it when reviewing the clipboard if you want to document it with the chief complaint so the dr is aware the patient is taking it in more than one places. I also do not like how the wording in the summary is generated sometimes but it does give you the option to modify it if something doesn’t sound right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
